Delete Your Pookie Account

You can delete your Pookie account and its data from inside the app, on either iOS or Android. You do not need to contact us first.

How to delete your account

  1. Open Pookie and sign in.
  2. Tap Profile in the bottom tab bar.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm when asked. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you can no longer sign in, email support@pookie-app.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.

What is deleted

Your account and the content tied to it, including:

If you are paired, your partner keeps their own account and can no longer see anything you shared.

What is kept

What Why How long
Purchase and payment records, with personal details removed Tax and accounting obligations As required by law
An anonymous record that an account existed Aggregate statistics Indefinitely
Logs and backups Security and recovery Up to 90 days

None of it is used to contact you or to restore your profile.

Deleting data without deleting your account

You can delete individual photos, messages, journal entries and whiteboard drawings in the app at any time, reset your photo vault, and remove your partner connection from Profile.
